This part time position provides employment supports that will assist individuals to overcome barriers to successful community employment. This is a great position for individuals who enjoy a flexible work schedule, love a variety of work sites and look forward to developing relationships with individuals and our local businesses. Greenleaf JTS presents a team-oriented, collaborative environment where the team members are mission driven and enjoy helping others.
This position requires approximately 25 hours per week and a caseload of 5-6 participants. Flexibility is a must as days and hours are based on each participant’s work schedules.
Responsibilities of the Job Coach:
Assist individuals with barriers to employment get on-the-job training and learn valuable work skills at job sites throughout the community.
Assess work readiness and transferable job skills to help determine appropriate vocational goals.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records regarding each participant’s success on the job.
Travel locally and transport individuals if needed.
Qualifications of the Job Coach:
Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience in training, education, and/or working with individuals with barriers to employment is preferred.
A willingness to learn and jump in to help the team and our participants is essential.
Ability to be flexible is a must!
Strong organizational and computer skills.
