Greenleaf Job Training Services, Inc., an organization providing employment support services to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment, will be reorganized as a non-profit corporation (501c3) effective October 1st, 2021. We are very excited for this transition and are looking for board members to join us for this next chapter. We got our start over 25 years ago as a C Corporation providing services such as job placement and training to people referred to us by the state agency, Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities. However, we have found that sometimes additional services and supports enhance the likelihood for success. We also realize that there are people with barriers other than disability who could benefit from our services. By making the transition to a non-profit corporation, we are seeking to expand our reach in the community using our individualized approach to vocational rehabilitation.
The ideal board candidate will have experience in workforce development, disability services, and/or the non-profit sector. We are specifically looking for expertise in governance, marketing, program development, and fundraising.
