Our participant of the month for May is Bryonna! Bryonna is an intern with our Project Search program and will be graduating soon. She’s seeking employment now and is working hard at putting her best foot forward for interview. Congratulations Bryonna!


Q: Why is it important to you to have a job?

A: It’s important for me to have a job so I can make and save money to be able to buy the things that I want.

Q: How is getting/having a job going to change your life?

A: Getting a job is going to change my life because I will have a permanent role where I can make connections to people in the community.

Q: What challenges or problems did you have to face to get your job?

A: The most challenging part of preparing to get a job is doing interview prep.

Q: How did Greenleaf help you with these challenges?

A: My job coach Marck has helped me by creating tasks lists and learning how to ask for help. Taren has been helping with preparing for job interviews and creating a resume.

Q: What advice would you give to others who are nervous about looking for a job and working?

A: Don’t be nervous
