Our Staff


Maybe we are a bit biased, but we think our staff is the greatest in Central Ohio.

Our team members have extensive knowledge about recruiting and hiring. They also possess years of experience training and educating both job candidates and employers. But more importantly, our employees are amazing listeners.

From our front desk Administrative Assistant to our Founder and CEO, Jennifer Kuntz, everyone who works at Greenleaf Job Training Services genuinely cares about you and your success (we consider it a job requirement). Working with us, you will be paired with a staff member who spends time getting to know you, finding creative ways to help you achieve your goals, and making sure you feel at ease with the entire process.

Jennifer Kuntz

Jennifer Kuntz

Founder & CEO

Jennifer Kuntz is the Founder & CEO of Greenleaf. Her strong vision of a better way to provide support to individuals with differing abilities compelled her to launch Greenleaf in 1995. Jennifer has participated in designing state-wide training programs for vocational professionals and has participated at Vocational Rehab Association annual conferences and other state-wide training programs making presentations related to the support of persons with disabilities. Jennifer is currently a member of Women Presidents' Organization: Columbus, and Vistage, an organization dedicated to leadership development. In 2014, Jennifer joined the board of Ohio APSE, an organization dedicated to "improving and expanding integrated employment opportunities, services, and outcomes for people with disabilities." Jennifer’s mantra: Give a hungry person a fish and you’ve fed them for a day; teach them HOW to fish and you’ve fed them for a lifetime.

Kristin Schaub

Kristin Schaub

Director of Operations

Kristin Schaub joined Greenleaf in October 1999. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree, summa cum laude, in Sociology from Bowling Green State University and a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Services from the Ohio State University. She is also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and a board member of the Job Placement Division of the Ohio Rehabilitation Association. Kristin has worked extensively in the Vocational Rehabilitation field, with experience and expertise in Vocational Evaluation, Community Based Assessment, Job Seeking Skills Training, Job Development, and Job Coaching. Kristin currently oversees the Operations Department, including administrative staff, compliance, and general business operations. Kristin initially became interested in Vocational Rehabilitation as a way to “help people.” However, she has found the most rewarding aspect to be seeing people gain confidence and achieve things they never thought possible, all while encouraging and mentoring others along the way. This is truly an agency and a profession where staff and consumers alike can “pay it forward.”

Susan Folk

Executive Vice President

Susan Folk, PHR, SHRM-CP, is the Executive Vice President, having joined Greenleaf in 2010 as the Office Manager and then as the HR Manager. As the Executive Vice President, she oversees the VR Programs Department with the Department Director, as well as the 4 Project SEARCH programs Greenleaf provides coaching to at Dublin Methodist Hospital, Doctors Hospital, Licking Memorial Hospital, and a new adult Project SEARCH program at Eldorado Scioto Downs. She has a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Voice, Theatre, and Dance from OSU, as well as extensive work experience in retail, management, and customer service. She maintains her Professional of Human Resources certification, as well as Property & Casualty, Life, Accident, and Health insurance licenses. She is an avid theater-goer, supporting local opera and theater companies. Susan believes that a smile can go a long way, and that a positive attitude is a key to a happy life.

Kate began her career at Greenleaf in September of 2010 as a Job Developer. During her tenure at Greenleaf, she has also worked in Customized Employment, achieving A.C.R.E. Certification. She is currently our Director of Programs, overseeing all of the VR programs and personnel, including the Job Developers and Job Coaches. Dave Appel

Job Coach

Dave Appel, Job Coach, joined Greenleaf September 1st, 2011. He is an educator with prior classroom teaching service in Columbus City Schools, Delaware Area Career Center, Fairfield County Educational Service Center, Worthington City Schools, and the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio. In Columbus, Dave served as a classroom teacher providing classroom instruction for special needs students and as an Occupational Work Experience Coordinator, developing and coordinating job placements for high school students. At Delaware Area Career Center, he served as the Vocational Special Education Coordinator, providing student and classroom instruction support. In Fairfield County, Dave developed and coordinated two community-based training sites for students with multiple disabilities. Then in Worthington Schools, he served as a Job Training Coordinator where he developed and coordinated individualized student community based training opportunities. Lastly, working for the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio, Dave served as the instructor for the Project SEARCH Program based at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, assisting with the development of the program training sites with the Medical Center and the coordination of student training placements. A quote from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe that offers guidance for instruction and personal development: "Treat others as if they were what they ought to be and you help them become what they are capable of being."

Employment Specialist - Project SEARCH

Ryan Collins joined Greenleaf as an Employment Specialist in February 2018. Since then he has been trained in several aspects of the company and continues to want to learn more. He transferred to the Project SEARCH program at Dublin Methodist Hospital in 2018. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Capital University in 2016. Having held jobs ranging from the medical field to grocery retail all the way to non-profit work Ryan is well equipped to help any and all participants throughout their time with us.

Jen Dales, CESP

Jen Dales, CESP

Intake Specialist

Jen joined Greenleaf in 2013 as a Job Developer. She is currently our Intake Specialist, in addition to providing initial Job Development activities. Prior to working at Greenleaf, Jen spent over four years working with developmentally disabled individuals and an additional six years pursuing her education at OSU. She chose to study art history alongside sociology and psychology due to her interest in the therapeutic and cathartic aspects of art expression. After witnessing her father’s stroke and journey through recovery, Jen found herself inspired and re-energized to reach out and help others help themselves. In 2012 she graduated with honors earning a BA in Art History as well as a minor in Studio Art. Jen believes in the power of positivity! A simple quote by Thich Nhat Hanh sums up her approach to life, “Because you are alive, everything is possible.”

Project SEARCH Employment Specialist

Tammy Elliott joined Greenleaf JTS in July 2016 as a Summer Job Coach at Giant Eagle and also joined the Project Search Team at Licking Memorial Hospital. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology emphasis being Child Development online through Kaplan University while balancing a full time job and caring for her home and family. For the past four years she has been substitute teaching for the Licking County Schools. “Life is about learning” is her motto and she often asks herself when put in a tough situation, "What can I learn from this experience to make myself a better person?" As a child the story of Helen Keller had a huge impact on her life, teaching her that any obstacle can be overcome with persistence and determination.

Tina Emory joined Greenleaf in August 2018 as an Employment Specialist. She will be graduating in December 2018 with her Bachelor's and plans to pursue a Master's in Social Work or Intervention Specialist. Over the past 20 years, Tina has worked in many aspects of the field ranging from personal tutor and home care to vocational training. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, biking, and reading.

Project SEARCH Program Coordinator - Pickaway County

Lucious Harper, Program Coordinator, joined the Project Search team in January, 2018. Lucious is responsible for running the adult Project SEARCH program at Scioto Downs. He is originally from Dayton, Ohio and has been living in the Columbus area for about 12 years. Lucious graduated from Wright State University, and since graduating has enjoyed working in various areas of social services and social work. Lucious has worked primarily in the areas of child welfare, prevention and mental health and has had tremendous experiences working with youth and helping to enhance their positive development. He is looking forward to continuing this wonderful experience working with the adult population through Greenleaf.

Betsy Hawkins joined Greenleaf in 2016 after having worked for the State of Ohio, DODD at the Columbus Developmental Center, a residential facility. She joined Greenleaf as an Employment Specialist, and became a Project SEARCH Employment Specialist for the 2017-2018 school year. She has returned to the VR department as an Employment Specialist. With a personal belief that there exists a job for everyone she wanted to redirect her efforts towards vocational rehabilitation. Ever since receiving a degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University, she recognized her passion and enthusiasm for working within the population of folks with disabilities.

Project SEARCH Employment Specialist

Melissa joined Greenleaf in May of 2015. She has served as a Job Coach, an Employment Specialist, and now as a Project SEARCH Employment Specialist. Prior to starting at Greenleaf, Melissa spent time raising her family. Once her children were off to college, she went back as well. After earning a BA in Social Work from Ohio Dominican University, Melissa began working for people with differing disabilities as a job coach to assist her consumers in gaining and keeping employment. In April of 2015, Melissa obtained her Social Work license in the State of Ohio. Melissa believes that everyone should be able to do anything they want in life regardless of their differences.

Project SEARCH Employment Specialist - contingent

Michelle Ireton, BSN, RN, started with Greenleaf in 2016 as a Job Coach for Project SEARCH at Dublin Methodist Hospital. Michelle is a graduate from The Ohio State University College of Nursing and was employed by Duke University Medical Center as a neurology and neuro-surgery nurse. While raising her family, Michelle was involved with many community volunteer projects regarding childhood education, public health, youth athletics and musical expression. Michelle also volunteered her services at The James Cancer Hospital and Dublin Methodist Hospital. Michelle is inspired by the following quote by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., “Everybody can be great…because anybody can serve…You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”

Joy Jones joined Greenleaf Job Training Services in October of 2016 as the new Department Assistant in the VR Programs Department. For the last 8 years she has been a stay-at-home mom to her 3 kids who keep her very busy. She worked with children in the evenings coaching gymnastics. Prior to staying home she worked at a handful of real estate title agencies. Over the course of 9 years she became very proficient in the title business performing everything from start to finish that was needed to close a transaction. Joy is excited to be back at work again after being away for so long!

Employment Specialist - Project SEARCH

Ginger Kehler joined Greenleaf in August 2018 as a Project SEARCH Employment Specialist. She moved from Texas to Ohio in 2000 and is thrilled to be a part of the Greenleaf team. Ms. Kehler is a Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) who previously provided job coaching, job development, JSST and CBA employment services in Licking and Muskingum counties. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Texas. After a successful career in the private sector, Ms. Kehler began working in Career Tech Education (CTE) where she provided student leadership and career development services to youth ages 14 to 18. She loves working with transitional youth and helping to spark a passion for employment. Her goal is to help each youth reach his/her potential. Her favorite quote is from the book, The Time Traveler by Andy Andrews: “Passion breeds conviction and turns mediocrity into excellence!”

Sara Maurath joined Greenleaf in July 2018 as a Job Developer. She grew up in Northwest Columbus and currently resides in that area. She graduated from high school in 2009 from Wellspring Academy of the Carolinas at the top of her class. While attending Columbus State Community College she worked in several different customer service jobs and found a passion for helping people. She was inspired to apply for a job at Greenleaf JTS after overcoming her own disability and put her love of helping people to good use. In her spare time, she loves woodworking as well as spending time with her cats and her family.

Alison Moffit joined Greenleaf as a Job Coach in 2016. She has spent the past 16 years raising her two sons and providing day care for pre-school aged children. Alison has volunteered at the local elementary school since 2006 and in 2012 began volunteering at Dublin Methodist Hospital where she was introduced to Project SEARCH. Alison earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design and spent six years working for an architecture firm in Wilmington DE before moving with her husband to the Columbus area.

Carlita Paramore

Employment Specialist

Carlita Paramore, an Employment Specialist, joined Greenleaf in March 2018. Carlita is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University, where she studied Biology Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Mass Media Arts with emphasis in Radio Broadcasting. After college Carlita worked as a Veterinary Technician and Animal care specialist with Zoo Atlanta. She later joined the staff at Emory University’s Yerkes Regional Primate Center, where she had the pleasure of working with baby capuchins used in sight saving retina eye studies and also the effects of opioid withdrawal in non-human primates and lab rats. In 2004 Carlita took on her most challenging role as a Special Education teacher. She fell in love with exposing children to the possibilities of higher education regardless of what their background or current situations looked like. Never steering far from her love of broadcasting, Carlita attended and graduated from the Atlanta Broadcasting Institute, and shortly afterwards began interning with V-103 F.M. Atlanta as a Promotions Coordinator. In her spare time she enjoys all things fashion, commentating on her friend’s radio broadcast/podcast and volunteering in various homeless ministries by collecting and distributing items to assist individuals and families in need. Carlita’s favorite quote and one she strives to live by is: “IF I CAN HELP SOMEBODY ALONG THE WAY, THEN MY LIVING HAS NOT BEEN IN VAIN.”

Linda Parzero joined Greenleaf as a Summer Employment Specialist the summer of 2016. Linda has a Bachelor's Degree in Education (Spanish & Phys. Ed) from Malone College and a Master's Degree in School Counseling (k-12) from the University of Dayton. Linda taught Spanish and Physical Education for 10 years and was an elementary, middle & high school counselor for 23 years with Columbus City Schools before retirement. For the last four school years, she has worked as a Homework Help Associate for the Columbus Metropolitan Library- South High Street branch assisting students and their parents with homework and projects. She has joined the Project Search program at Doctors Hospital in 2018.

Linda Peters, CESP, joined Greenleaf Job Training Services in June 2012 as a Job Coach. Her background is in human resources and education. She holds a Bachelor degree with a Personalized Major in Human Resources/Employee Assistance Programs from Franklin University. Linda spent the previous ten years working with high school students with special needs. Her current favorite quote is by Brene Brown: "Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we'll ever do."

Direct Support Professional

Lesly Poole joined Greenleaf JTS in May 2018 as a Direct Support Professional. Lesly is an Ohio native. Her post high school education includes Franklin University -Healthcare Management, Ohio Business College- Medical Assistant, American School of Technology- Medical Office Assistant. She was a Managing Cosmetologist for 15 years. She also worked in medical offices for 4 years and as a Home Health Supervisor of a group home that serves people with disabilities, with focus on the Autism Spectrum, for 5 years. Lesly’s hobbies include Ohio State football, gardening, shopping, volunteer at church to assist people with disabilities to attend. In addition she volunteers with Transition Ministry to serve those who have been displaced.

Dick is a Greenleaf Job Coach with an undergraduate degree from the Ohio State University and a varied vocational experience that qualifies him to assist differently enabled individuals to reach their employment goals.
Dick has worked as a leadership trainer for college students, pastored a church, sold residential real estate, was a project estimator for a small exterior remodeling company, a sales associate for Lowe's Home Improvement and a Service Provider for adults with developmental disabilities. Dick believes that "The worst disability is to have sight but posses no vision".

Administrative Assistant

Seqoya Reedus is a Columbus native and graduate of Eastmoor Academy class of 2006. She continued her education at Ohio University majoring in Public Administration in Athens, Ohio until 2010. Since then she has had work experience with children and senior citizens and discovered her passion for helping others. She especially loves helping those who need extra or special help. Helping each other as citizens of earth is part of our purpose in this life. A believer that disability is not inability Seqoya loves watching our participants grow and learn. In her free time Seqoya is an artist, she loves to paint, draw and write poetry. She is grateful to be working at Greenleaf and looks forward to developing professionally here. “Whether your dreams are earth bound or set in the stars, follow your heart and make it so.”

David Reynard joined Greenleaf JTS in September 2016 as a Van Driver. David spent six years serving in the Army, before studying Business at the Columbus State Community College. He then spent the next eighteen years on the Columbus Fire Dept. as a Firefighter/Paramedic. In December 2017, Dave was promoted to Lead Driver, and has since joined the team as an Employment Specialist.

Sa'Tia Shellow joined Greenleaf in 2017 as an Employment Specialist. She is pursuing a degree in Education, Spanish and Psychology minor at Ohio Dominican University. She has a background in childcare and customer service. Her passion is helping others identify their passion and assisting others in living out their life's purpose.

Jennifer Struckman joined Greenleaf in 2016 as a Job Coach for Project SEARCH. She is currently an Employment Specialist, dividing her time between Licking and Franklin counties. Prior to working at Greenleaf, Jennifer graduated from The Ohio State University with a BA in English, and is also serving in the United States Army Reserve. Jennifer's background is in both customer service and finance, and she is passionate about helping and teaching others. The words of Ralph Waldo Emerson exemplify her outlook on life: “The purpose of life…is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”

Employment Specialist - contingent

Mary Trickett joined Greenleaf JTS as an In House Trainer in March 2011. Most recently, she was a Job Coach at the Doctors Hospital Project SEARCH program. She is semi-retired, serving Greenleaf in a contingent capacity. She had previously been Director of Education at a private Montessori School for 10 years, and worked with a wide range of student needs along with teachers, parents, and specialists in recognizing and assisting students by offering understanding and alternative means of furthering their education. Prior to that experience she had obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Ohio State University in Family and Human Development. Mary has a strong belief in focusing on the positives in the people she works with and is rewarded with always finding inspiration through their stories and efforts to better their lives.

Tawana Washington

Tawana Washington joined Greenleaf in 2018 as an Employment Specialist. She has a Master of Science degree from Franklin University in Instructional Design. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in education from Youngstown State University, she spent over 11 years as K-12 teacher. Tawana's own personal experience with vocational rehabilitation has fueled her passion to work with individuals who are determined to gain and maintain employment.

Leah Watkins

Employment Specialist

Leah Watkins, an employment specialist, joined Greenleaf in November 2016. Her prior background consists of being an Activity Director at a local Nursing Facility and prior to that a Recreation Therapist at a Mental Health Hospital. Leah received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation Therapy from Indiana State University. Leah and her husband moved to Columbus the beginning of 2015 and enjoy becoming familiar with the Columbus area. Leah enjoys helping people find something that gives them purpose in their life.

Brandie joined Greenleaf in September 2018 as an Accountant. In 2005, she graduated magna cum laude from the Ohio State University with Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. After spending over ten years working for “the man” in commercial real estate and insurance, Brandie felt called to move into an industry that focuses in improving the lives of members of the community. Brandie loves traveling and is on a quest to find the best cheeseburger in every city she visits. She is also passionate about social justice, music, reading, photography, and hiking.

Dan Woodburn

Project SEARCH Employment Specialist

Daniel Woodburn began working with us in July 2016. His prior experience in vocational rehabilitation includes two and a half years with Goodwill and two years with AmeriCorps at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. Originally from North East Ohio, he studied philosophy and anthropology at Kent State University, and relocated to Central Ohio six years ago with his lovely wife and two boys. He joined the Dublin Methodist Hospital Project SEARCH program in 2017 and transferred to help launch a new Adult Project SEARCH program at Eldorado Scioto Downs in March of 2018.

Gary Woodson joined Greenleaf in January 2018. Before beginning to work at Greenleaf, Gary spent the last 15 years working as a Recruiter in both the proprietary education and healthcare staffing industries. Prior to this, Gary worked as an Occupational Therapist and provided skilled therapy services in hospitals, home care, long term care, and various other settings. Gary is also a published inspirational (poetry) writer and performing poet. He has a passion for encouraging and inspiring others on their journey through life.

Prudie Wray

Employment Specialist

Prudie Wray joined Greenleaf JTS in July of 2018. She comes to us with a Master's Degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Christian Theological Seminary, Indiana. Prior to joining Greenleaf JTS, she worked several years as a Non-Medical Counselor to active duty military and their dependents. She says she sees her career in Social Services as a natural flow from when she first began work in Public Assistance then transitioned into Child Protective Services; from CPS to Family Preservation; Family Preservation to developing and administrating Healthy Families Johnson County, from which she transitioned to volunteering for the United States Peace Corps in Romania. Prudie moved to Ohio just 5 years ago to be near her family here where she enjoys the frequent company of 5 of her local grandchildren. She also travels to visit her family abroad as often as she is able.
